I Gotta Praise (Holy One) ~ This track is a great variation of the classic song often used during shout music. Being a musician, the musical arrangement on this song is bananas. With that the vocal flow is good also. The message of the song is of course talking about praising God, the Holy One. Great song.
Watch Me Praise Him ~ When I saw Deitrick Haddon perform this on TBN, I was immediately hooked. Again this is turn of and old traditional song. One of them songs that you can't help but nod your head too. Deitrick’s wife, Damita, is singing on this CD and is doing a tremendous job. Another great song. The musical arrangement and vocal flow is great also. This CD is starting off awesome.
We Worship You ~ The musical arrangement at the beginning is a little weird for my taste. This track features the awesome Pastor William Murphy III. This is definitely not your average Gospel song. The build-up to the chorus is crazy though. The chorus is awesome. I’m really feeling this track. I admit the musical arrangement sounded weird in the beginning, but man, does it get better. If you’re a fan of William Murphy and Israel Haughton, and this is the track for you.
Take Rest In Me ~ Deitrick is singing on this track. You can feel the presence of God strong from last track to this one. This track is mostly vocals, and the harmony and blend is just sick. This is a worship song. I would definitely call this track a show stopper track. Meaning that if this song was sung during a service, I can definitely see the Holy Ghost taking over and God having His way with the people. Wow. This track is just wow.
You Are God ~ This track is featuring artist Javen. I’ve seen Javen on the Gospel Music Channel and he wasn’t really my style. This is another worship song. It’s definitely a track toward Javen’s style of music. Alternative music is the best way I can describe his style. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s just a favorite of mine. This song is talking about there’s none like God. Another track with crazy vocal arrangements. Not a bad song at all.
We Cry Holy~ This song features Jason Champion. It just went into it which means I don’t think this is the whole song I’m listening too. Sounds like we come in right at the vamp. Not bad for the 3 minutes I heard of it.
Send a Revival ~ This track features Pastor Paula White. Paula is preaching is talking about reviving. She’s taking about the sound coming from Heaven. I’m loving the arrangement of this song. The title of the song is what the song is about, go figure. It’s about asking the Lord sending a revival and reviving us again. Paula is talking over the track while the background singers and choir is singing. She doesn’t overlap much at all so it easy to understand what the singers are singing. I like this track, not my favorite on the CD so far, but it’s good.
Heaven ~ Another one with Deitrick Haddon taking over the lead. Again it’s a worship song. Nothing wrong with that. It’s a simple song also. That’s not a bad thing by all means. Some of the best worship songs are the most simple. During the song he sings lyrics from the song “Oh the Glory of Your Presence,” which is a great song in itself.
It All Belongs To You ~ Once again, Damita Haddon takes lead. It has a piano intro to it. Sort of the likes of “Imagine Me,” by Kirk Franklin. Another simple song lyrically and vocally. Once again it’s a worship song. I really like this song also.
He’s Able ~ This track features the great Darwin Hobbs. I first heard of this song when we learned it at choir rehearsal at my church, New Harvest Ministries. I then searched for it on YouTube and immediately fell in love with the track. “God is able to do just what He says He will do. He’s gonna fulfill every promise to you. Don’t give on God ‘cause He won’t give up on you. He’s Able.” What more can you say? It’s a powerful song. It speaks to your heart. It’s based on the verse found in Ephesians 3:20 which says (KJV), “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
Praise Break (Momma’s God A Word) ~ This is featuring Prophetess Joyce Haddon. We definitely learn where Deitrick got his spiritual teaching from. What a powerful word.
My Father’s House ~ This is the last track which is featuring Shirley Murdock. It’s an upbeat song. The bass line is crazy. Following the trend of the other tracks, the vocals are again insane. Again I’m loving the bass. Shirley is a beast, which means if you don’t know that she is extremely talented.
This CD was recorded live at Without Walls International Church. Nothing against studio albums, but something about when you know a Gospel CD is recorded with a live audience you can really feel the anointing of God in the midst. I give this CD 5/5 stars. One of the better Live CD’s I’ve heard. With Deitrick, this was the best I’ve heard from him. Sometimes with Deitrick, at least to me, it sounds like he’s trying to entertain more then he’s trying to reach. With this CD, not only did he entertain, he spoke to our hearts. He really let the Holy Ghost have his way with this one. My opinion…definite must buy for any fan of choirs, worship, and just letting God do His thing.

Dont act like you didnt see this coming
Are you ready? Are YOU READY?!? Ladies and gentlemen, let's get ready for A RANT!!!
Barack Obama, a black man, more importantly a mixed man, is the new President-elect of the United States of America. You may be wondering why would I rant on that? You're recalling that I supported Obama. Well I did, and still am. What I'm going to rant on is the anti-Obama people. As Chris Jericho used to say, "Would you please shut the [heck] up!" Get over it. Obama won. All I heard during the past week was Obama is the anti-christ, Obama is going to get shot, the rapture is going to happen if Obama wins. Obama is not a Christian. All that bull crap. Please save it for your momma or fake Christian messageboards, because I don't want to hear it. First of all the Bible says that we shouldn't judge others. It said treat others like you want to be treated. We can't judge people's salvation. Isn't that what the Bible talks about? Think of it this way, who's going to be the one who has the final say where we go when we die? Not you. Not me. So stop judging. Another thing, why are y'all worried about who the anti-Christ is anyway? Y'all sounding like you want to be here to meet the man. So you want to pass up being caught up in the Rapture, to be on the Earth with no Holy Ghost, and suffer through all the stuff talked about in Matthew 24, just to meet the anti-Christ? Not for me sir. I don't want to know, and don't care to know who the anti-Christ is. Besides all that, besides trying to warn people of the anti-Christ, shouldn't we getting people to know Christ? Isn't that what we as Christians supposed to do? I guess I was wrong. Btw, it's been a couple of days since Obama was named Presidential-elect and the world hasn't ended yet. I'm still breathing in and out. I hear no sirens on the outside going crazy. I hear no riots. So much for that theory. And the thing about Obama being shot...what the crap? Some of y'all claim to be Christian. Christian means Christ-Like. In the book of Proverbs it talks about the power of life and death lies in the power of the tongue. One of the 10 Commandments that we were taught as kids was thy shall not kill. So you're speaking death to the next President of the most powerful country in the world? Not a very good testimony to have sirs and ma'ams. I'm just saying. Besides speaking death on the man, we should be speaking life and praying for him. Weather you voted for him or not, weather you agree with his views or not, he's going to be your next President.
I mentioned before about fake Christian boards. I feel sorry for Gospel rappers who provide messageboards for their fans to come together, and all the "fans" do is cause drama. All they do is speak death like I talked about in the paragraph above. If you go to some messageboards you'll find that most people are depressed, some are cutting themselves, some are even contemplating sucide. I'm not lying about that. And these are supposed to be Christian messageboards, and we got people debating almost to the point of cussing each other out. Your heart has to go out to the Gospel rapper who made the messageboard in the first place. It's like if you go to a church that isn't functioning properly, who is going to get the blame? The pastor. It's like you're at a school and it has the lowest grades in it's district, who's going to get the blame? The principle. A sports team is losing every game and it seems like every player has no discipline at all. Who's going to get the blame? The coach. See what I'm saying? The people on these messageboards should have have more respect for the owner of the board and not bring stupid pointless drama and cause a havoc. KJ-52, my heart goes out to you man. I left that board and another board because it was not good for my sanity.
Back to the election, in my home state of California, they put a ban on same sex marriages. Now some people in California are protesting and rioting over that. Me? I think it's God's will being done. The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is a destable sin. It also talks about if you pratice it you will not inherit the kingdom of God. The Bible also says that the wicked shall be turned onto hell and ALL NATIONS THAT FORGET GOD. And as the song says, I know the Bible is right, and somebody's wrong. That the person who is practicing Homosexuality, they can get saved. God loves the person, he hates the sin. My opinion, I think it's great that California voters voted to put a ban on same sex marriages. It's just not right. I hear people say stuff like, "If you were in their shoes, wouldn't you want rights?" If I was in their shoes I'd be on my way to hell if I didn't repent and give my life back to God, bottom line. I don't care what you say, you can't compare this gay rights movement to the civil rights movement back in the day. You can't compare. Now I don't agree with hating a person because he or she practices the sin of homosexuality because like I said eariler, we are not to judge. So killing a person because of a habit or sin is not right. But killing because of a habit and killing because of skin color or race is completely different. I don't know this for sure, but their possibly could've been homosexual black people that went through crap just like the straight ones did. The racist couldn't careless what your habit was, all they saw was that you were black and you were counted as 3/5 of a human being. Get what I mean? You can't compare the two. I'm sorry. Again, I'm not bashing the person. I'm not bashing the person, I'm bashing the habit they pratice. Like I hate smoking and drinking. Some people I know does both. If anything I'd tell them that they need to stop smoking, they need to stop drinking...doesn't mean I'm going hate them for it. For me that would be hating my own family. I know a couple of people who do practice homosexuality and they are some of the funniest, nicest people you've ever meet. See what I mean?
John 3:16 (NLT) says "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." God loves you inspite of what you do and say. He still loves you. Romans 10:9 (NLT) says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. " Notice it doesn't say you have to be emotional. It says nothing about crying or anything like that. it simply says that if you open your mouth and say that Jesis is Lord and believe with all your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. Some of us have made mistakes in the past week, heck the past 24 hours that we regret, but God is a forgiving God, and we got to be willing to truly repent, turn away, from those mistakes. I don't know why I typed this last paragraph, but here you go. Be blessed.

Is Obama’s faith affecting your vote?
I know off the bat that this blog is going to tick some of you off. Some of you are going to cry and moan, but not tell me. Some of you are going to agree with what I'm going to say, but not tell me. And some of you already have exited the blog. Either way, this is all my opinion. I was chatting with my good friend PraiZe and this blog idea came to mind. So, with all that said, let's start the debate. Big Dusty, the floor is yours.
Is it important what Obama's faith is? I guess to a point it is, but shouldn't it be his own business? Now people went in an uproar because of his name, but come on now. Don't act like you haven't seen a black person with a strange name before. Jay Z calls himself J-Hovah, and there's no uproar for that, Christians? or should I say for some of you "Christians?" I actually know of a person whom will remain nameless...ok let's call him "JD"...who is making a video explaining why Obama's not a Christian. *faints* Give me a break sir. Ok Barack views may not agree with some of our morals. I understand that. BUT. George Bush was apparently for our "morals." Against gay marriage, against abortion...yada yada yada. Um, well good to see he did something about them in his 8 years in office. Oh huh, he didn't do anything about them....well crapacles. Let's say Obama may not be truly saved. Denzel Washington ain't truly save either, but he paid the building fund of a church in California. I don't think women are going to stop going to see Denzel in movies just because he cusses. Am I right? Now realistically the vote next week is between two people, McCain and Obama. I know there's others out running but do they have a chance? I say about as much of a chance of the Bengals winning Superbowl, but that's a different story. McCain and Obama has both flip flopped on what they said, McCain more than Obama has in my opinion. Both canadates have flaws. Oddly enough both are human and make mistakes. Before I end this I got something else to say because it's my blog. For all you people saying that Obama is the anti-christ...next time you have a thought, let it go. Just shut up. Anyway, all I'm saying is, questioning a man's faith who is running for leadership of the greatest country in the world less than a week before we as a nation vote is a pansy move. Real pansy move. I hear people bringing up Jeremiah Wright and the fact that Obama was a member of that church. Obama doesn't control what Wright says or does people. As far as I know, Wright was a pastor which means he has a mind of his own. What happened with Wright, has nothing to do with Obama and the way he will run this country if he wins. To tell y'all the truth, I really can't wait for all this election mess to be over with and done. We as Christians, besides questioning a man's faith, should be praying that who ever is in God's will to be in the White House, will be in that White House in January. Let's stop this nonsense. Clark Sisters has a song called "Pray For the U.S.A." That's exactly what we got to do. So let me know what you think? If you agree of disagree. I'm done.

Lecrae: Rebel...thumbs up, thumbs down?
2 thumbs way way......UP! This CD is one of the most increbible Rap CD's I've heard in a good while. From song 1 to song 15, just straight up crazy. Is it a must buy, in my humble opinion, yes. Musically, I loved it. Originality is something I look for, especially in Christian music. A lot of Christian rappers think they have to use secular beats to get sales and to get people to listen. I disagree sir. I've always said and always believed that Christian rappers can and should use oringinal beats. If you need a producer, http://www.myspace.com/speedygunz11. Great producer, and he's Christian. Speedy if you're reading, you're welcome. Anyway, back to Rebel, what a CD this was. I already talked about it muscially, now message wise, it was great also. The song Idenity comes to mind. All in all it was a great listen and the messages were inspiring. If you're a Gospel rap fan, heck if you're a rap fan in general, I highly recommend this CD.

Take out the biscuts because here comes some gravy
Holy crud! What's happenin? Hope everybody's having a good week this week so far, I know am. I'll get into that in a little bit. I caught a little bit of the debate so I have no opinions on that. I didn't watch the VP debates last week because, well to be honest with you, I didn't want to. I had no desire what so ever to watch that. I heard it was a good debate though. I asked mom about tonight's debate and she said it was crazy. I don't know how to take that other than to move on.
I got a live version of the classic "We Worship Your Holy Name" by Kirk Franklin starting out this blog on Windows Media. To the reason I'm having a good week. A few weeks ago, God placed it on my heart to go on a fast. Now before you get ahead of me this was not a fast from food. It was a fast from the internet. I basically blew it off and didn't think much of it. This past Sunday however I decided that I would go ahead and do it. I started it Monday and will end it this Thurday. Now you may be asking, "How can you be on a fast from the internet, when you're on it now?" Well it's only during the day. From the time I wake up until my mom gets home from work, which is about 6:00 P.M. It's been two days thus far and it's really benefitted. I've studied good Word and have done some cleaning in the process. Without going into much detail, I'm basically studying the Bible on things I struggle with, and it's really opening my eyes. I'm asking for prayer these final two days that it will not be a waste and will serve it's purpose.
"Songs That Brought Us Over" by Kurt Carr is playing now. I've been slacking on my story a bit which is something I didn't want to do, and with this fast I'm on it's going to be difficult to work my way back into it. It still shocks me a little bit how people become hooked on the stories I write, or began to write but never finish. I guess if I happen to get subcribers on youtube with my interesting videos, anything can happen.
Something I thought about today. With all the drama on TV, on messageboards, etc, if people would open up and read the Bible, they'd find all the drama they want. I mean take time to read and study the Bible, and you'll find crazy stuff. Incest, rape, murder, love, lust...what else do you want? Now of course you should read the Bible for gaining understanding and to use it as a road map to heaven, I'm not disregarding that in the least. All I'm saying is, why waste time watching Soap Operas for drama when you can find it in the Word of God and learn from it at the same time? I guess that's just me, I don't know.
"I'm Gonna Praise Him" by West Angeles Church Of God In Christ Mass Choir is playing now. I'm getting tired, and I can't wait for what I'm going to study when I wake up. Hopefully when I get on at night I'll have some comments on the blog. Y'all have good one.

All I'm saying is, why waste time watching Soap Operas for drama when you can find it in the Word of God and learn from it at the same time? I guess that's just me, I don't know.

Another week, another month
Another week, another month. La di da. I got "He's Able" by Deitrick Haddon starting off tonight on Windows Media. I know most of y'all caught the debates last Friday night. In my humble opinion, McCain went out like a punk. If you noticed during the debates, when McCain talked about Obama, he never looked at him. He always mentioned him in third person talking down on him. Obama actually looked at McCain stating his point. He even a few times talked to McCain directly. Also, did it seem to anybody else that McCain always tried to go for the cheap laugh? Maybe it's just me. All I know is, if I was, which I'm not, but if I was a McCain supporter, I would've lost so much respect for him because of the debates. Your opinions are welcomed.

In that chapter, it clearly tells you what's going on in the world today and what's going to happen later. "Don't Be A Fool" by Elle Es is on now. Btw, Brianna if you're reading this, your mixtape is off the chain. Now back to what I was saying. The Bible talks about studying to show yourself approved. Just something to think about. For those who know and have studied Matthew Chapter 24, I just got one question, Are you ready?
"Every Time" by CeCe Winas is playing now. Speaking of wrestling, I watched the Mr. Perfect DVD, although it was on dailymotion.com. Besides that, I think it was a well made DVD. Of course I didn't see all the extras, but the main, I guess you can say, documentary, was good. The roughest part of the whole thing for me was when it got to the part where Curt Henning passed away. I can't imagine being a father burying a son. If I ever have a son, I know I wouldn't want to go through that, God willing. It's like what Denzel Washington said in the movie John Q when they were contemplating on pulling the plug on his son, "I'm not going to bury my son. My son's going to bury me." When I get the money, I'm definitely going to get the Mr. Perfect DVD. I think any fan of pro wrestling/sports entertainment should get it also.
"Seated At The Right Hand Of God" by Tye Tribbett and GA is playing now. So I haven't done a video and/or podcast in a long time. Anybody got something they would like me to talk about or do a video about? Hit me up. I'm fresh out of ideas to be honest with you. I see some of my old videos on youtube, I start to think, how in the world did I get 45 subscribers? It's mind boggling to me. The people on LiveVideo must be smart because I hardly get any views on there. I also only got 7 subscribers, yet I only get like 3 views per video. That's odd.
"Stretch Out Your Hand" by Ricky Dillard is playing now. Well I probably could think of more to write, but I don't want to. I'm glad you y'all read my blog. I know there's others out there but you happened to read mine. That's awesome. Be back next week God willing.

Sorry it took so long
Starting off this blog with a song that was ringing in me after Sunday morning service at the church, "No Weapon" by Fred Hammond. The song is based from Isaiah 54:17 (KIV) which says, "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD." Powerful verse, and powerful song. So anyway, sorry for the long break between blogs. It's hard coming up with subjects to talk about when you're not a big news watcher. It's hard for me to watch CNN, Fox News, etc because of all the hyprocrisy that goes on. I can't stand that stuff. Either way, let's see if I can figure out somethin for this blog.

It's my default MySpace (where this is originally being typed) and FaceBook. I'm surprised it didn't get any comments. I'm guessing it proves Proverbs 18:24a which says, "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly." It the midst of looking for that verse, "I Honor You" by Bishop T.D. Jakes started playing.
I'm drawing a blank people. I literally can't think of anything else to write about. To the people reading on Live Video, let me come clean. You know those lurkers that never come in and chat? hehe, sorry! I'll try to do better the next time.
"You Can" by Dorinda Clark-Cole is playing now. Ah, now I got something. The track I'm listening to now is produced by J. Moss, who is Dorinda's cousin. J. Moss is an excellent producer. He can also sing, but he's an overrunner. What I mean by that is that he seems to think, the more he runs, the more love he gets from his audience. Example? Well I'm glad you asked. His song, "Praise On The Inside" is an awesome track. Yesterday in the morning, Sunday morning, I was watching Gospel Music Channel, and low and behold J. Moss came on with a live performance of "Praise On The Inside." I changed the channel within 30 seconds because the runs were so irritating. Now don't get me wrong. I love runs. The late Rev. James Moore was the king of them, but if you feel that your voice is not secure enough to sing without runs, then how in the world did you get a record deal? That's exactly why I'll never own a Rance Allen CD. FYI, if you don't know what I mean by runs or running in a song, it means...well i don't know the webster's definition.
In the midst of trying to find a definiton a song has played and a song is playing. The song that played was "On Time God" by Dottie Peoples. The song playing now is "Perfect Peace" by Sammy Young. Now "This Is The Day" by Fred Hammond is playing. Before I another song sneaks up on me, Dad just came back home from work and I got the new WWE Magazine. So, I'm going to get to reading that. Hope you enjoyed the blog. Hopefully I said something that made sense.

Regular bloggers need love to, dang it!
Sound the alarm and scream, "Lunch!" How y'all been since the last blog. Hope y'all had a good Labor Day. I myself had ribs, baked macoroni-n-cheese, green beans, and bratwurst. Jealousy is an ugly face, let's get this moving...
I'm currently listening to the Akitunde radio show. Well it really hasn't started yet, all I'm hearing is commercials, but either way. Ok, now the intro music is playing. Either way, last night we had a great time at choir rehearsal at the church. It was one of the better rehearsals I've been too in a while, no lie. Being at rehearsal however, I missed the start of the NFL season. The Giants played the Redskins, so I guess I really didn't miss much.
So the presidential stuff is going crazy, right? Now, I'm not saying vote for McCain or Obama because that's your call. But what's up with the hyprocritical stuff going on, you know? It's like the elections have turned into World Wrestling Entertainment. Much respect to the Daily Show and Colbert Report for pointing out some of the hypocracy. I'm sure there's some going on in Obama's campaign, not entirely sure about that, but with the McCain side....my God! Ever since McCain chose Palin as a VP, hell broke lose. Speaking of that, what's the deal with that? Palin? Governor of Alaska for what, two years, I believe. Hardly any experience, except "Executive." Foreign experience claims, because Alaska is close to Russia? Give me a break. I've been to Florida, so does that mean I got foreign experience because Florida is close to Cuba? Shut up! Anyway, all the news network need to watch for what they say because news flash reporters, the camera is on and recording. So when you say something then say the complete opposite, we're going to catch it. And another thing, what's up with the Republicans talking down on Obama for the stuff he's done for the community. Since when helping people get jobs and off the streets a bad thing? Think, people, think. Now I know politicans, thinking is not a skill you have, but try it, and see how it works.
Enough about politics, let's move on. Regular bloggers need love too, y'all. Now I love reading WWE's Matt Hardy's blog, and other celeberity blogs I can get too. It's cool to see what they're really thinking on certain topics. But what about us regular bloggers? Can't we get some views and comments too? You'd probably be surprise at the intellengence found in some of the blogs from us non famous people. I'm not condemning famous people's blogs, but don't forget about us.
Akintunde asked a question, do you feel ok about your kids, or kids in general, getting taught by homosexual teachers? Lord, this section is going to cause arguments, but ok. As most of you know, I believe homosexuality is a sin. Homosexuals, I have no problem with. People I have no problem with. I do have a problem with homosexuality itself. So with that being said...this is a hard question, because part of me is saying that if they have the education and have the knowledge of the particular subject then no I don't have a problem with homosexuals teaching kids, but on the other hand, if a kid goes home and talks about how womenly their male teacher is acting, and you're teaching the kid how to act masculine...then there's a contradiction there. What y'all think? Y'all opinion's might help me out a little bit of what I'm trying to say.

Going random because I can son!!
1:40 in the morning in the east coast, and I'm going back to the old time way. When it comes to blogs, anyway. Yesterday I was looking through my old blogs and saw the classic random blogs. So I thought, tonight, I'm going random. Oh it's going to be a time. Got the music going with "My Walk" by Canton Jones. It's actually almost over. As a matter of fact, Elle Es just came on with her interlude "The Highest Education." Well, the Olympics is over. The USA Basketball team won Gold, proving that 2004 was a fluke. I missed the gold medal game because I was sleep. Darn these human trends. Sleeping, I mean really. Anyway, "Not My Will" by Sammy Young and his group is playing now. I'm loving this new TV we got in the living room. It's a 42" LG HD TV. I need a new profile pic, don't y'all think? I mean let me know. don't be talking about me behind my back. No judging. 1:48 in the morning now. I'm actually drawing a blank. I should do these more often, I'm losing it. So I've been listening to talk radio on the internet lately. "Everybody Dancing" by Canton Jones is playing now, but yeah, Christian comedian Akintunde hosts a great show from 2-4 in the afternoon...Eastern time. Dang people on the west coast be getting screwed! Bless your hearts, Westcoasters. 1:51 now. I missed WWE's Monday Night Raw because I took a nap an hour before it came on and I woke up when it went off. I went on the website to see what I missed and it looked to be a decent show. John Cena is injured again, which has to make the wrestling fans over the age of 5 happy. Anyway, "Stand Out" by Tye Tribbett is playing now. 1:54, by the way, thanks for all the love on last week's blog. It's great that I'm getting support week after week. Come on people, I know I'm not much to look at, but still. Look past that. I was really shocked that the only comment I got for last week's blog was from the youth minister from my church. He's on my top if you want to know. Devon is his name, but yeah. He probably still thinks I post these everyday. If you haven't already, check out my latest video. For you people on myspace, it's on the page. If you need the link, hit me up with your comments and I'll give it to you. For you people on LiveVideo...pfft. Y'all can't show a mixed boy love for nothing! FYI, "Incredible God" by Youthful Praise is playing. It's now 2:00 in the morning, for those trying to keep up. I don't know why, but do you. The Bible says in Proverbs I believe, comment and tell me if I'm wrong, but the Bible says that life and death lies in the power of the tongue. So why is it that some choirs are singing like there at a funeral for the pope? When did it become against the law for life to be involved in singing for the Lord? I mean, I've never been to one, but if you go to a regular hip-hop concert, they put life in their performances. Of course they're talking nonsense, but they be hype about the nonsense. So when a person comes in to church, and sees the choir singing songs flat with no life, what are they supposed to think? Come on now. Singing out, and singing with life is not against the law. "If I" by Grits is playing now. I guess I just have a third eye, so to speak when it comes to music. I hear and see stuff that some people don't. It's not demonic or anything like that, it's just like with comedians. They see something funny that most of us can't. It's a gift. 2:07, and most of you are tired of reading because I didn't seperate this into paragraphs. Sue me, I don't care. Paragraphs are for structured blogs, and I don't do those often. "Jesus Is All" by Fred Hammond, my favorite singer, is playing now. So to friends old and new, thanks for reading. I wasn't as random as I used to be, but I'll get back there eventually. Giants do die, the bigger they are they harder they fall...
Hide the puppies it's Cruella! Hey everybody, hope y'all had a good week, I know I did. Before I get this blog started, there's a song that really describes the way I feel right now. You can check it out here at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjn6XOWylNE. Now for the soon to be famous, maybe, blogging.
So this past Sunday night we had a youth service at the church, but this wasn't your traditional youth service. It was more of a one night revival. If you watched the link I posted earlier, then you got what the hold night was about. if you didn't watch the video, the preacher spoke of giants dying. He came from 1 Samuel where David killed Goliath. We all know the story of David and Goliath, if you don't, then you need to start going to Sunday School. Basically Goliath was a Giant, and David slayed him. Then he cut his head off to get a"head" in life. HA...ok seriously. Anyway, what David did to Goliath in the physical, we need to do to our struggles in the spiritual. Got me? So like I said, this past Sunday night was just awesome. It was a blessing to all who went. After the service was over, young people were still crying out to God and going strong.
Just got done watching Golden Child, to which I think it was completely underrated. It's one of my all time favorite movies, to be honest. Eddie Murphy, the star of the movie, did his thing. Plus it was back when he was at his comic best. Not to say that Eddie still isn't funny now because I'm one of the few people in the world that actually liked Meet Dave. And there will be judging on my movie choices. I don't believe in judging, unless I'm doing it.
I think there's a difference between a dad and a father. In the Bible, one of the 10 Commandments is to honor your mother and father, that your days may be long, right? But what about your dad? What if your dad has not been a father? Plus I don't think that commandment necessarily means just your mom and dad. I think it includes all the fatherly and motherly figures in your life. You feel me? Like your pastor should be a fatherly or motherly figure in your life. Now if your pastor is not like that, notice I said should be. But is my question legit? What if your dad has not been a father? Do you still honor him? I know you love him, but do you honor him?

I’m so glad so glad that He gave me...THE GIFT TO WRITE!!
Leave your doors unlocked and let homewreckers like Snow White come in. I'm back with another one of my underrated, commented, and I'm guessing viewed blogs. I'm not going to sing it, I'm fixin to bring it.
So as we all know, we lost Bernie Mac and Issac Hayes. Bernie was one of the best comedians of all time. He definitely left his mark in the business. He will be missed. Issac Hayes was a funk legend. Known for the theme to Shaft. Also known as Chef from South Park. Let me say this about Hayes. He had to be one of the biggest hypocrites for leaving South Park as he did. He left because they did a show on Scientology? Are you kidding me? South Park is one of the most anti-religion, anti-values, anti-anything shows every put on TV. It just didn't make sense to me that's all. Another thing, I'm confused about. Most people believe that when they die, they go to Heaven or Hell. What do scientologist believe? Where do they supposedly go when they die? Science books? I'm just guessing because I don't know. It's crazy.
I've been drinking hot tea lately, is that weird? My sister said that hot tea has more caffine than coffee. That's strange because I just had two helpings, and I'm still tired as crap. What the barnicles?
So we got the Summer Olympics going on. Both basketball teams are dominatiing so far. Of course it's only been like one day, but anyway. Is anybody actually watching the Olympics? To be honest, I'm watching little by little. I watched that last little bit of the Women USA Basketball straight murder the Chinese. Not murder in the literal since, but you know, the Chinese lost by a lot of points. That sounds better.

He left because they did a show on Scientology? Are you kidding me? South Park is one of the most anti-religion, anti-values, anti-anything shows every put on TV. It just didn't make sense to me that's all. Another thing, I'm confused about. Most people believe that when they die, they go to Heaven or Hell. What do scientologist believe? Where do they supposedly go when they die? Science books? I'm just guessing because I don't know. It's crazy.
I've been drinking hot tea lately, is that weird? My sister said that hot tea has more caffine than coffee. That's strange because I just had two helpings, and I'm still tired as crap. What the barnicles?
So we got the Summer Olympics going on. Both basketball teams are dominatiing so far. Of course it's only been like one day, but anyway. Is anybody actually watching the Olympics? To be honest, I'm watching little by little. I watched that last little bit of the Women USA Basketball straight murder the Chinese. Not murder in the literal since, but you know, the Chinese lost by a lot of points. That sounds better.

Did you miss me? I bet the feeling’s mutual :)
Back again from the impromptu hiatus from the blogs. I promise I didn't know that I was going to take a long break from blogging like I have. Either way, let's get this moving.
First off, this is sort of like a hot of the presses type thing, but a few minutes ago I read an article saying that a woman was killed on her honeymoon in Antigua, which is a Carribean Island. Her husband was wounded. The real crazy thing is, that's the 10 murder in Antigua this year. So guess where I'm not going on vacation anytime soon? I don't mean to make a joke out of a serious situation, but 10 times in a little over have a year is nothing to play with. The couple was planning to go back home this coming Monday. They both were 31, so it wasn't like they were old. The devil is busy, people. We still got people acting like they got all the time in the world. I'm sure this couple didn't have getting robbed and shot as part of they're honeymoon. If there's ever time to get God in your heart, it's now. I learned this past week that it doesn't take emotion to get saved. All you got to do is believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. I didn't intend to put that on this, but it's really time to stop playing around with life and start getting serious.
I'm really shocked that my video, Why are men so stupid?, has not got a ton of views and comments. I'd figure that would be a hot topic. I guess it's taking longer than I thought. If you haven't seen it yet, get at me and I'll send you a link. Tell your friends about it too because I really want to read and see more opinions on that subject.
As I hinted earlier, I was at the Triad Convention last week, and it was off the meat racker-zolie!! I'm not lying. Every aspect of the convention was awesome. The messages were on point. The sessions were on point. It was just amazing. The main thing I'm going to remember about the convention is that Wensday night. There was a storm happening outside that night, and the power of the building went out. The only lights on was the flash lights and the emergency lights. Anyway the choir got up. We sang out hearts out. You talking about old school hand clapping foot stomping church. What? I mean we did the dang thing, and the annointing was in that place so strong. If there was a time for the rapture to happen, that would've been an awesome time. I'd have a hard time beliving that a person did not feel the annointing in that place. I already can't wait for next year's.
For those of you that are faithfully reading my story, "How Did That Happen?", I just want to let you know that I'm working on it, and will have new stuff posted soon I promise. Sorry for the hiatus on that as well.
Is anybody else like me tired of hearing about Bret Farve? Right now, I could really careless if he comes back or not. The person I really feel for is Aaron Rodgers. He came in to this season thinking that he was going to be the starting quaterback, and now leave it to Mr. Farve to start up some drama. If you're going to retire, retire. I don't care how much you still want to play. Make up your dang mind, and stand by your decision. I can't stand when people change their mind's at the last minute, messing up the plans that were set.

I know you can read, but can you type?
What's happening? Y'all know me. I don't know you. Let's do this...
I'd like to begin by thanking Gary and peaceofmind for commenting my blog last week. I greatly appreciate it. To the rest of y'all...what?!?! I get about 25 views on the Space a week, I know that, but come on. I know you can read, but can you prove that you can type by giving a brother some feedback? Goodness. I wanted to go past over promoting, but it looks like I got to go back to over promoting. Y'all going to be sick of me this week. You brought it on yourselves. As Toby Mac says, "Let's get this party started!!"
So Eddie Murphy is doing Beverily Hills Cop 4. Earlier in the process it was rumored that the movie was going to be PG-13, which burnt me up to no end. I'm sorry, you can't have a character like Axel Foely in a PG-13 setting. It's just not going to work. Some days ago, I saw that the movie is in fact going to be rated R. Thank the Lord! Can you imagine a Beverily Hills Cop movie without the F-bomb being dropped? That's like hearing a State of the Union address and not hearing a lie.
The new Will Smith movie, Hancock, is already getting panned by reviewers. Most saying something like, "Will smith can't save Hancock." I even saw "$150 million dollar disaster." I haven't seen the movie yet, but I hope to see it while it's still in theaters. Until then, I'll just say that it would be a shame that Mister 4th of July couldn't deliever. For his sake I hope he did.
Speaking of...I hope you all had or are having a great 4th of July weekend. For me, the food was good. My dad may have his flaws, but he can grill. His ribs are insane. Insanicles as my good friend Cass would say. Also we had chicken, and sausages. Not the breakfast sausage. The kind you put on a hot dog bun with some mustard. Also had baked beans. That's all I ate, but the rest of the fam also had corn on the cob and potato salad. Didn't see any fireworks but I heard some go off. Actually I saw fireworks this past Monday, when the home town baseball team hit a homerun. Don't get excited, they lost 6-3. Yeah they suck. They must be the Miami Heat of minor leauge baseball.

SHUT UP BEFORE Y’ALL JINX IT!!
What's good my blog readers? Trust me, I'm going to welcome the comments for this one. Alan I once again thank you in advance. Now let me get to the topic then I'll jump around like I usually do.
To the Obama supporters: SHUT UP BEFORE Y'ALL JINX IT!! Look, I want Obama to win just like everybody on BET does, but good Lord, shut your mouth. Lets go back about, I don't know, 4 years ago, when it seemed like everybody in America wanted Bush out of office. What did "we" do? Put Bush back in for another 4 years. So shut up, before McCain gets in office. 4 years ago, Puff Daddy had the Vote or Die campaign going and what happened? I think we all know. Now this jinx is saying and I quote "Obama or Die!" Diddy, shut up before you jinx it for all of us. Gahly. Yes we want Obama to win, but let him win for the right reasons, not just because he's black. Diddy, here's what you do, say "McCain or Die," that way everybody will vote for Obama. Nobody like you no more, Diddy, get over it.
Now for my usually scheduled randomness. Where's the love people? Where is the love? Lack of pic comments, lack of comments in general. It's almost like...who's this mixed boy? Remember me? Big Dusty? The one with the nice smile and hair, which will be gone next summer. Speaking of which, we got about a year to come up with another nickname for yours truly because with the hair, goes Big Dusty. I'm thinking of just being Daniel, but I want to give my people a chance to give me a new nickname anyway. I mean I got the name Dusty by 2 white boys, and I ran with it. Who knows what will happen? Big Dusty only has about a year left y'all. Will he make a comeback after that, God only knows.
Back to jinxing, we got WWE's Night Of Champions coming this Sunday, June 29, 2008. One of the matches being John Morrison and The Miz vs Hornswoggle and Finlay. Everybody wants Hornswoggle and Finlay to win. Yay!! Really? Again let's go back some months ago. Who was the the last Crusierwieight champion in the history of the WWE. Oh yeah, Hornswoggle. He got the title, then they dropped it. So do we as wrestling fans, really want Hornswoggle to win another title? Just a thought. As Jeff Meacham says, "It's just my opinion."
Speaking of opinions, if you reading this and you're into Astrology and you believe that horoscope mess...shut up. You're not going to recruit me. You people are more annoying than BET programming. I mean all this stuff talking like "Well in the past life you can see that..." What? You knew what I was doing when I was just in my dad? I hope some people got that one, anyway...but seriously, get a grip and stop annoying the people.

The Boston Celtics are the NBA Champs. Much respect to Kevin Garnett, but I just got one thing about his speech at the end of the game. Gave love to Chi-town, and Minnisota. Where's the love for South Carolina, Kevin? Huh? Your home state? I know you went to Chi-Town to finish high school and then you got drafted, but before that you went to Mauldin High School. If my reading is correct you were born in Maudlin. Show some love for your home state. That's all I'm saying. Other than that, much respect to KG and the Celtics. I had the Lakers in 6 I admit, but who knew? But I am making a pick for next year, for my Miami Heat. They will make the playoffs. YES I SAID IT! It's the Eastern Conference, I can't be wrong with this pick.
Since there's only one person that I know of that's going to comment this, got to give respect to Alan. Thanks for the comment in advance. Comments aren't against the law people. My videos get lack luster comments, my podcast get lack luster comments...I mean, am I lack luster? That's rhetorical don't answer that. uh OH, the mouth from the south is back...
No, I'm not Jimmy Hart, but thanks for checking out the blog anyway. For the new readers, thanks for checking out the blog. I know there's other and better blogs you could be reading, but you chose to read mine. I appreciated it. Would be great if you would subscribe, also. Let's get it poppin'!
We got the NBA Finals going strong. By this point, Celtics are up 2-1 in the series. I picked the Lakers in 6, but Boston is kicking crazy butt right now. I don't know. I know my good friend Alan is happy with the way the series is going by this point.
I'm countin down to the point where mom's gets sick of me and kicks me out the house. I got a feeling it's only a matter of time.
We got Vince McMahon, who gave 1 million dollars this past Monday. What do I think of it? I think it's cool. He's doing it again next week. I'm sure hoping I get a cut so I can get my student loans out the way, know what I mean? Imagine getting $200,000. After the tithes and offering for the church, you still got plenty to spend for yourself. I mean Vince is making people's dreams come true. It was funny when a person only won 2 dollars. It was straight up hilarious. But the person did get a free trip to New York so I bet she wasn't sad for long. Much respect to the WWE and Vince McMahon for this he's doing. To use to words of Edge and Christian from about 10 years ago, "It totally reaks of awesomeness!"
Ok, y'all I need your questions. I'm overdue for a video and I have no idea of what to do. I had an idea, and I still might do it, but I need some questions just incase it takes me too long to do that idea.
My story, How Did That Happen, is still doing well on the KJ Board for anybody that's wondering. This person with the username "peaceofmind" continues to show love and it's greatly appreciated.
Ok, well I'm off to do something. I don't know. It's 2:20 in the morning right now, and I'm not really tired. I might go into a live chat room as a guest just to be noisy. Or might put in a DVD. Hide the muslims and bring out the pork ribs, I'm back! What's up, this is the one and only, Daniel aka Big Dusty. Thanks for checking out this new blog. I know there's other blogs you could be reading but you decided to read mine and I greatly appreciate it. Let's get this poppin shall we?
What's going on in my life? Same old stuff different day. Well that was short and sweet.
Ladies and Gentlemen, an old rivary has resurfaced. Yes that's right, we're talking about the Celtics and Lakers. This Thursday the NBA finals starts. What a way to end the season by paying tribute to the old school. Through out the playoffs I was hoping this would happen. Now we got Kevin "Don't call me African" Garnett vs Kobe "I pass the ball now, you happy?" Bryant. I think it's going to be a great series. As much as I want KG to get his first ring, my gut is saying that the Lakers got it in 6. I could be wrong, I've been wrong before. Alisha shut up, if you're reading.
Is it just me, or has the elections gone completely out of control? I mean Obama's now former church is full with numnuts, and I mean that in the most Christian way, don't get me wrong. Now do I think it was wrong for Obama to leave? No I don't, but I think it's too little way too late. Maybe if he would've done it a while back, it would've been a sorta good thing for his campaign. If he would've left while Rev. Wright was on his rampage, the church might not even be part of his campaign now. We don't know that for sure, but it's something to think about. Does Obama leaving his church really help things for him? Time will tell. Do I really need to talk about Hiliary "I just want my old room back" Clinton? Nope.

What's going on in my life? Same old stuff different day. Well that was short and sweet.
Ladies and Gentlemen, an old rivary has resurfaced. Yes that's right, we're talking about the Celtics and Lakers. This Thursday the NBA finals starts. What a way to end the season by paying tribute to the old school. Through out the playoffs I was hoping this would happen. Now we got Kevin "Don't call me African" Garnett vs Kobe "I pass the ball now, you happy?" Bryant. I think it's going to be a great series. As much as I want KG to get his first ring, my gut is saying that the Lakers got it in 6. I could be wrong, I've been wrong before. Alisha shut up, if you're reading.
Is it just me, or has the elections gone completely out of control? I mean Obama's now former church is full with numnuts, and I mean that in the most Christian way, don't get me wrong. Now do I think it was wrong for Obama to leave? No I don't, but I think it's too little way too late. Maybe if he would've done it a while back, it would've been a sorta good thing for his campaign. If he would've left while Rev. Wright was on his rampage, the church might not even be part of his campaign now. We don't know that for sure, but it's something to think about. Does Obama leaving his church really help things for him? Time will tell. Do I really need to talk about Hiliary "I just want my old room back" Clinton? Nope.
